Dead Time (2018) is a 63-page performance score. It was composed by Cally Spooner in a techno-temporal performance climate, a crime scene, awhere it becomes more and more difficult to distinguish between what is alive and what is dead. Since 2018 , Spooner has been gradually translating Dead Time into a series of works that can coexist under different conditions and could be integrated into an opera. At the Kölnischer Kunstverein, Folkerts and Spooner discuss the current state of Dead Time and avoid future-oriented speculations and chronological reminiscences. They are accompanied by Melody Giron on the cello. She will join the conversation from New York to present the current work of Dead Time .
