Private Lessons

Dedicated to teaching and pedagogy, I completed the two-year Suzuki Teacher Training program at The School for Strings in New York under the tutelage of Pamela Devenport. Having grown up learning the traditional method, I value the importance of a teaching curriculum that emphasizes a strong technical foundation that includes note reading beginning at age five and rhythm counting with metronome. I have created a curriculum that combines my Suzuki pedagogy training with traditional method.

With over ten years of teaching experience in group class settings as well as privately, I have discovered a strong connection and love of starting young beginner students. However, my studio ranges from age three through advanced high school students as well as committed adults who want to enrich their lives with music.

Currently available to teach private lessons and as a practice coach, I hold a private studio in Boston and NYC. Lessons take place at my home studio, or for a higher rate, they can also take place at the comfort of your home.

I also offer Zoom-remote lessons for out- of -state students.
